Bracelet of the Day: Francis - Turquoise Bronze Picasso

FRANCIS BRACELET
  • 11/0 seed beads Toho "Dark Chocolate Bronze Gold Luster" (422)
  • 8/0 seed beads Toho "Dark Chocolate Bronze Gold Luster" (422)
  • 7mm CzechMates 2-hole cabochons "Saturated Metallic Spicy Mustard"
  • SuperDuo beads "Blue Turquoise Bronze Picasso"

The idea behind this design is similar to the "Diamond Chain" bracelet that I blogged about a few days ago HERE. I've taken leaf-shaped components and 7mm cabochons and connected them with diamond shapes made of seed beads. The order of the motifs can be switched around as desired. Next time I might arrange them so that there is a cabochon in the center of the bracelet. I do plan to make a pattern for this one sometime and I've named it the "Francis Bracelet".

This design works with both Toho and Miyuki seed beads but the number of beads in the leaf motif needs to be adjusted with Toho beads.

I love the gold/bronze color of these cabochons but once again there are no matching seed beads. The closest that I could come up with that go fairly well with them are these metallic dark olive green seed beads.

Below are samples of two more colorways.
